Number of players: 4 to 13
Dealing
From a regular deck (fifty-two cards) remove one set of four of the same number or picture for each player. It doesn't matter which sets you take out. If you have five players, you need twenty cards—four each. How many will you have for ten player?) with thirteen kids you'll use the whole deck.
Shuffle the sets of cards together and cut. Then deal four cards to each player, one at at time.
How to Play
Arrange the cards in your hand so that matching cards are together. When the dealer says, "Go", all players quickly pick one card they don't want and put it face down to their left.
Strategy hint: You're trying to get four cards that match. So if you have a pair, put down one of your other cards.
Then everyone picks up the face-down card to their right. If it matches a card in their hand they put it next to that card.
As soon as the dealer says,"Go", again, everyone chooses another card to pass to the left. Players keep passing and picking up cards trying to be the first to get four matching cards.
When you get four of a kind, you stop passing cards and put a finger on your nose. Everyone else must stop passing, too, and quickly put their fingers on their noses. The last one to do so is the PIG. Whoever loses five times is the prize PIG and has to shout "Oink! Oink!"
P.S. In this game, it's okay to tell the player next to you to hurry up and pass.
